Difference Between Sea and Ocean

Sea

• It is a large body of salty water.
• It is the interconnected system of all the earth's oceanic waters, including the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern and Artic Ocean.
• These are smaller bodies of seawater.

Ocean

• It is the body of salt water.
• Any of the large bodies of water into which the world ocean is conventionally divided.
• The ocean contains 97% of Earth's water.
