How to Clear Cache in Chrome |
✅ Step 1: Open Chrome Settings
Launch Google Chrome on your computer.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Select “Settings” from the dropdown.
🧠Step 2: Navigate to Privacy Settings
In the left sidebar, click “Privacy and security”.
Then click “Clear browsing data”.
🕒 Step 3: Choose Time Range
In the pop-up window, choose a time range:
Last hour
Last 24 hours
Last 7 days
Last 4 weeks
All time (recommended for full cache clear)
📦 Step 4: Select Cached Data
Check the box for “Cached images and files”.
You can also select:
Browsing history (optional)
🗑️ Step 5: Clear the Cache
Click the “Clear data” button.
Chrome will delete the selected cached files.
🔄 Step 6: Restart Chrome
Close and reopen Chrome to apply changes.
Websites may load slower the first time as new cache builds.
