1.MILLAU VIADUCT(336.4 METERS)
The Millau Viaduct is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the gorge valley of the Tarn near Millau in Southern France. In an Anglo-French partnership, it was designed by the French structural engineer Michel Virlogeux and English architect Norman Foster. As of November 2018, it is the tallest bridge in the world, having a structural height of 336.4 meters (1,104 ft).
The Millau Viaduct is part of the A75–A71 autoroute axis from Paris to Béziers and Montpellier. The cost of construction was approximately € 394 million. It was built over three years, formally inaugurated on 14 December 2004, and opened to traffic two days later on 16 December. The bridge has been consistently ranked as one of the great engineering achievements of all time and received the 2006 Outstanding Structure Award from the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering. 2.PINANG BRIDGES(332 METERS)
The Pingtang Bridge is a bridge in Pingtang, Guizhou, China, and carries the Pingtang Luodian Expressway over the deep Caodu River valley. With a height of 332 meters (1,089 ft), it is the second-tallest bridge in the world. It was opened to traffic on 30 December 2019. It is the Second Tallest Bridge in the World.
The bridge is a multi-span cable-stayed bridge with a length of 7,000 ft (2,100 m). With the main tower that has a height of 332 meters (1,089 ft), the bridge is the second tallest in the world. The tallest tower is 15 meters (49 ft) shorter than France's Millau Viaduct, which has a similar structure to the Pingtang Bridge. The bridge is also among the 20 highest in the world with a road deck of 310 meters (1,020 ft) above the river below. The bridge cost 1.5 billion yuan (about 215 million U.S. dollars) to build.
3.YAVUZ SULTAN SELIM BRIDGE(322 METERS)
The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is a bridge for rail and motor vehicle transit over the Bosphorus strait, to the north of two existing suspension bridges in Istanbul, Turkey. It was initially named the Third Bosphorus Bridge (with Bosphorus Bridge being the First Bosphorus Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge the Second Bosphorus Bridge). The bridge is located near the Black Sea entrance of the Bosphorus strait, between Garipçe in Sarıyer on the European side and Poyrazköy in Beykoz on the Asian side. It is the Third Tallest Bridge in the World.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was held on 29 May 2013. The bridge was opened to traffic on 26 August 2016. At 322 m (1,056 ft), the bridge is one of the tallest bridges in the world. After the Millau Viaduct in France and the Pingtang Bridge in China, it is the third-tallest bridge in the world of any type. 4.RUSKY BRIDGE(320.9 METERS)
The Russky Bridge is cable-stayed in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, Russia. The bridge connects the Russky Island and the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula sections of the city across the Eastern Bosphorus Strait, and with a central span of 1,104 meters (3,622 feet) it is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. The Russky Bridge was originally built to serve the 2012 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference hosted at the Far Eastern Federal University campus on Russky Island. It was completed in July 2012 and opened by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, and on September 3, 2012, the bridge was officially given its name. It is the Fourth Tallest Bridge in the World.

5.SUNTONG YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE(306 METERS)
The Sutong Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Yangtze River in China between Nantong and Changshu, a satellite city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu province. It is the Fifth Tallest Bridge in the World.
With a span of 1,088 meters (3,570 ft), it was the cable-stayed bridge with the longest main span in the world in 2008-2012. Its two side spans are 300 meters (980 ft) each, and there are also four small cable spans. The bridge received the 2010 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award (OCEA) from the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Two towers of the bridge are 306 meters (1,004 ft) high and thus the fifth tallest in the world. The total bridge length is 8,206 meters (26,923 ft). Construction began in June 2003, and the bridge was linked up in June 2007. The bridge was opened to traffic on 25 May 2008 and was officially opened on 30 June 2008. Construction has been estimated to cost about US$1.7 billion.
6.STONECUTTER BRIDGE(298 METERS)
Stonecutters Bridge is a high-level cable-stayed bridge spanning the Rambler Channel in Hong Kong, connecting Nam Wan Kok, Tsing Yi to Stonecutters Island. The bridge deck was completed on 7 April 2009 and opened to traffic on 20 December 2009. The bridge was the second-longest cable-stayed span in the world at the time of its completion. The approaches at Tsing Yi and Stonecutters Island are located near Container Terminal 9 and Container Terminal 8, respectively. It is the Sixth Tallest Bridge in the World.
The bridge is part of Hong Kong's Route 8, connecting Sha Tin, Cheung Sha Wan, Tsing Yi Island, Ma Wan, and Lantau Island. Other major constructions along the route are Nam Wan Tunnel (completed in 2008), Eagle's Nest Tunnel (completed in 2008), Sha Tin Heights Tunnel (completed in 2008), Tsing Ma Bridge (completed in 1997) and Kap Shui Mun Bridge (completed in 1997). The Stonecutters Bridge won the 2010 Supreme Award at the annual Structural Awards presented by the Institution of Structural Engineers, United Kingdom.
7.CHISHI BRIDGE(288 METERS)
The Chishi Bridge is a bridge carrying the G76 Xiamen–Chengdu Expressway over a deep valley. At 380 meters (1,250 ft) the longest span is 38 meters (125 ft) longer than France's Millau Viaduct, which has a similar structure but is longer and higher than the Chishi Bridge. It is the Seventh Tallest Bridge in the World.
On June 10, 2017, The New York Times offered the Chishi Bridge as an example of one of China's many troubled bridge projects. They reported that the bridge's construction was significantly delayed, and went fifty percent over budget. The total cost of the project was US$300 million. Also, they reported that once complete, the bridge was under-used, because the toll, equivalent to $3, was too expensive for locals.
8.AKASHI KAIKYO BRIDGE(282.8 METERS)
The Akashi Kaikyō is a suspension bridge, which links the city of Kobe on the Japanese mainland of Honshu to Iwaya on Awaji Island. It crosses the busy Akashi Strait (Akashi Kaikyō in Japanese) as part of the Honshu–Shikoku Highway. It was completed in 1998,[1], and has the longest central span of any suspension bridge in the world, at 1,991 meters (6,532 ft; 1.237 mi). It is one of the key links of the Honshū–Shikoku Bridge Project, which created three routes across the Inland Sea. It is the Eighth Tallest Bridge in the World.

9.YI SUN-SIN BRIDGE(270 METERS)
Yi Sun-sin is a suspension bridge on the south coast of South Korea. The bridge is one part of The Approach Road to Yeosu Industrial Complex. It is the world's fifth-longest suspension bridge in terms of its main span length of 1,545 m since it opened in 2012. The bridge connects Gwangyang with Myodo-dong, a small island that is part of Yeosu City. It is the Ninth Tallest Bridge in the World.
‘Yi Sun-sin’ is the name of the Korean Admiral who was born in 1545 and built the world first ironclad warship called 'the Turtle ship' and defended the country against the Japanese navy in the Joseon Dynasty. Some people miswrite his last name like 'Lee' instead of 'Yi' but 'Yi Sun-sin' is his official name. The bridge was designed by the Yooshin corporation and was constructed by Daelim Industrial Company.
10.DUGE BRIDGE(269 METERS)
The Duge Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge on the border between the provinces of Guizhou and Yunnan in China. As of 2016, the bridge is the highest in the world with the road deck sitting over 565 meters (1,850 feet) above the Beipan River. The bridge is part of the G56 Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway between Qujing and Liupanshui. The eastern tower measures 269 m (883 ft) making it one of the tallest in the world. It is the Tenth Tallest Bridge in the World.
11.JINGYUE YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE(265 METERS)
The Jingyue Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Yangtze River between Jianli County, Hubei Province, and Yueyang, Hunan Province in central China. The Bridge opened in June 2010. The bridge crosses the Yangtze River and is one of the largest cable-stayed bridges in the world. The bridge was tolled a few months after opening. It is the Eleventh Tallest Bridge in the World.
12.NANSHA BRIDGE(260 METERS)
The Nansha Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Guangdong, China, spanning the Pearl River. It is also the beginning of the Guangzhou–Longchuan Expressway. The bridge is an important part of the Pearl River Delta expressway network, connecting the Shatian Town in Dongguan to Nansha District in Guangzhou, as well as the Guangzhou Ring Expressway and the Guangshen Yanjiang Expressway. While it was under construction it was due to be named the Humen Second Bridge. The Nansha Bridge opened to traffic on April 2, 2019. It is the Twelfth Tallest Bridge in the World.
13.YACHI RIVER BRIDGE(252.2 METERS)
The Yachi River Bridge is cable-stayed in Guizhou, China. The bridge is the fourth highest in the world. It is also one of the longest cable-stayed bridges with a main span of 800 m (2,600 ft). The western tower is 258.2 m (847 ft) placing it amongst the tallest bridges in the world. The eastern tower is 243.2 m (798 ft). The bridge crosses the Yachi River between Qianxi County in Bijie and Qingzhen in Guiyang. The bridge carries traffic on the Guiyang to Qianxi Expressway. It is the Thirteen Tallest Bridge in the World.
Although Yachi River Bridge is officially 440 meters high, the bridge crosses over the reservoir of the Dongfeng Dam so it is 306 m (1,004 ft) above the water level.
14.YANGSIGANG YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE(254.9 METERS)
The Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge is a suspension bridge in Wuhan, Hubei, China. It opened to traffic on October 8, 2019, and is the second-longest suspension bridge span in the world. The bridge spans 1,700 meters (5,577 feet) across the Yangtze River. The bridge is the longest double-deck bridge span in the world and carries motorized vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, and pedestrians on its two decks. The bridge cost ¥8.5 billion (US$1.27 billion) to build. It is the Fourteen Tallest Bridge in the World.
The bridge connects the Hanyang and Wuchang. The upper deck has six lanes for vehicles that connect to the urban expressway system and 2 m (6.6 ft) wide pedestrian walkways on each side of the bridge. The lower deck includes four more motor vehicle lanes that connect to the city streets, two 2.5 m (8.2 ft) lanes for non-motorized vehicles, and two more pedestrian walkways. The overall length of the bridge is 4.134 kilometers (2.57 miles).
15. GREAT BELT FIXED LINK(254 METERS)
The Great Belt Fixed Link is a multi-element fixed link crossing the Great Belt strait between the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen. It consists of a road suspension bridge and a railway tunnel between Zealand and the small island Sprogø in the middle of the Great Belt, and a box-girder bridge for both road and rail traffic between Sprogø and Funen. The total length is 18 kilometers (11 mi). It is the Fifteen Tallest Bridge in the World.

16.LIUGUANGHE XIQIAN EXPRESSWAY BRIDGE(248 METERS)
The Liuguanghe Xiqian Expressway Bridge is a 375 meters high cable-stay bridge crossing the Yachi River between Xiuwen, Guiyang, and Qianxi, Bijie in Guizhou, China. The Liuguanghe Bridge will carry traffic on the Xifeng to Qianxi Expressway. The bridge will have a main span of 580 meters and a total length of 1280 meters. The highest tower is 245 meters high also making it one of the tallest bridges in the world. Although the bridge is officially 375 meters high, that measurement is taken from the original river level. Construction of the Wujiangdu Dam downstream from the bridge has created a reservoir that extends under the bridge reducing the viable height above the water to 300 meters. 17.ZHONGZHOU YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE(247.5 METERS)
The Zhongzhou Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Yangtze River in Zhong County of Chongqing, China. Completed in 2009, the bridge carries traffic on the G50 Shanghai–Chongqing Expressway. It is the Seventeen Tallest Bridge in the World.
With a main span of 460 meters (1,510 ft), the Zhongzhou Yangtze River Bridge is among the longest cable-stayed spans in the world. The bridge was constructed 134 meters (440 ft) above the original river. The reservoir created by the Three Gorges Dam has increased the height of the water below the bridge and the clearance is reduced to 84 meters (276 ft) when the reservoir depth is at its peak.
18.JIUJIANG YANGTZE RIVER EXPRESSWAY BRIDGE(244.3 METERS)
The Jiujiang Yangtze River Expressway Bridge is also known as the Second Jiujiang Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge over the Yangtze River between Huangmei, Huanggang, in Hubei province and Jiujiang, in Jiangxi province. The bridge carries six lanes of traffic on the G70 Fuzhou–Yinchuan Expressway and is the second Yangtze River crossing in Jiujiang. Construction of the bridge started on September 27, 2009, and the bridge was completed on October 28, 2013. It is the Eighteen Tallest Bridge in the World.
The bridge's main span of 818 m (2,684 ft) is one of the longest cable-stayed bridge spans in the world. The total length of the bridge span across the Yangtze River is 1,405 m (4,610 ft). The bridge structure is 8,462 m (27,762 ft), which consists of the main span, secondary span, northern and southern approaches. The secondary span is 1,300 m (4,300 ft). The northern approach 2,166 m (7,106 ft) consists of the Huangguang Levee Bridge, Fen Road Elevated Bridge, and G105 Highway Bridge). The southern approach 3,591 m (11,781 ft) consists of the Qili Lake Bridge and the Bridge over the Jingjiu Railway.
19.EDONG YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE(242.5 METERS)
The Edong Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge across the Yangtze River in Hubei Province in eastern China. The bridge connects Huangshi and Xishui County and forms part of the G45 Daqing–Guangzhou Expressway and the G50 Shanghai–Chongqing Expressway. Construction of the bridge started in 2008 and it was completed in 2010. With a main span of 926 m (3,038 ft), it is currently the fourth-longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. 20.MEZCALA BRIDGE(236 METERS)
The Mezcala Bridge is also known as the Mezcala-Solidaridad Bridge. It is a cable-stayed bridge located in the state of Guerrero on Highway 95D in Mexico. It spans the Balsas River (known locally as the Mezcala River) close to the western Pacific coast of the country. This bridge, with a total length of 891 m (2,923 ft) and six uneven spans completed in 1993, has been in service since 1994 as a toll bridge. It is the Twenty Tallest Bridge in the World.
