How To Play Poker?
1. Understand the Goal
The aim is to win chips by forming the best 5-card hand or by getting others to fold.
2. Know the Hand Rankings (Best to Worst)
Royal Flush: A♠ K♠ Q♠ J♠ 10♠
Straight Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit
Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank
Full House: Three of a kind + a pair
Flush: Five cards of the same suit
Straight: Five consecutive cards (any suit)
3. Set Up the Game
Use a standard 52-card deck.
Each player gets 2 hole cards (face down).
The dealer rotates clockwise each round.
4. Post the Blinds
The two players left of the dealer post the small blind and big blind (forced bets to start the pot).
5. Deal the Hole Cards
Each player receives 2 private cards (hole cards).
6. First Betting Round (Pre-Flop)
Starting with the player left of the big blind, players can:
