How to Delete a Page in Word
✅ Step 1: Show Paragraph Marks
Go to the Home tab.
Click on the ¶ (Show/Hide) icon to reveal hidden formatting marks.
This helps you see extra spaces, page breaks, or empty paragraphs.
๐ Step 2: Identify the Page You Want to Delete
Scroll to the page you want to remove.
Check if it contains:
Text
Blank lines
๐งน Step 3: Select the Content
Click and drag your mouse to highlight all content on the page.
If it’s a blank page, highlight any paragraph marks or page breaks.
⌨️ Step 4: Press Delete or Backspace
Hit the Delete key (or Backspace) to remove the selected content.
The page should disappear automatically.
๐ง Step 5: Use Navigation Pane (Optional)
Go to View > Navigation Pane.
Click Pages tab to see thumbnails.
Select the page and delete its content directly.
๐ ️ Step 6: Remove Extra Page Breaks (If Needed)
If the page remains, check for:
Manual Page Breaks → Delete them.
Section Breaks → Be cautious; deleting them may affect formatting.
