With his Friend's encouragement After Completing his Graduation, Sonu Sood showed his interest in an acting career and started taking modeling assignments.

Sonu Sood did a private job for his day to day expenses and he also participated in the Grasim Mr.India contest and reached the Top 5.

In 1999 he Started his Acting Career in the Tamil language film "Kallazhagar". In 2000 he appeared as an antagonist in the Telugu film Hands Up!.
