Kajal Aggarwal Completed her Schooling at St. Anne's High School, Mumbai, and pre-university Course at Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She did her graduation in Mass Media, with a specialization in Marketing and Advertising, from Kishinchand Chellaram College, Mumbai.

She made her acting debut in the 2004 Bollywood film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na, in which she had a minor supporting role as the friend of Diya. After that film, she got a chance to play the lead opposite actor Kalyan Ram in Telugu Film "Lakshmi Kalyanam"(2007) directed by popular director Teja. But the film did not do well. she got Lead in the Krishna Vamsi-directed "Chandamama"(2007), did well at the box office and gave her lots of fame.
